Job Description

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to head up the product development deparment.  As an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for taking our product development to the next level. You will design and build products that have never been built before. We like to push the envelope of what can be done. You will work closely with marketing teams, our suppliers, and company leaders to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and customer needs.

 

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and test radio communication systems, including two-way radios and Bluetooth connectivity.
  • Design, develop and test high performance battery powered lighting systems.
  • Collaborate with design and marketing teams to assist with product development.
  • Work closely with suppliers and manufacturers.
  • Create and maintain electrical schematics, diagrams, and documentation for lighting and radio communication systems.
  • Quality check products that are being manufactured to ensure they meet our standards.

Qualifications

  • BS or MS in electrical engineering preferred.
  • 3+ years of applied professional experience in a similar field.
  • Experience working with Bluetooth and radio systems.
  • Experience designing and building PCB’s.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Posses a proficient understanding of product development.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Fusion 360
  • Maintains self-appearance, morals, comments, and gestures befitting a representative of Oxbow

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with lighting or radio systems.
  • CAD experience.
  • Passion for powersports and outdoor recreation.
